Greg Brockman, President and Co-founder of OpenAI, has also chosen to depart from the company following this development.
Greg shared the process of Altman’s removal from the company he co-created:
“Last
night, Sam received a text asking to talk at noon on Friday. Sam joined
a Google Meet, and the entire board, except Greg, was present. Sam was
informed of his termination, and the news was to be made public very
soon.”
