After syncing with Metamask and minting test ETH, users can explore a series of DeFi platforms:
- Syncswap: A decentralized platform offering token swaps and liquidity farming.
- Aave: A lending protocol that operates on the Scroll network, where users can secure loans using test ETH or delve into staking.
- Catalyst: A cross-chain protocol enabling asset transfer between different networks, including experimental ones like Canto and Cronos, along with straightforward token swaps.
- MES Protocol: A decentralized marketplace, providing the capability for placing limit orders. To begin trading, you'll need to transfer funds via the “Deposit” option.
For a holistic experience, it's advised to delve into every feature available, from claiming test ETH and earning farming rewards, to partaking in cross-chain swaps and more.
Engaging with NFTs
You can now mint two NFTs from the Bufficorn Battle and Scroll Kingdoms projects.
As of now, there's no detailed information about the potential use of these tokens in the future.
Creating Your Own Token
You have two options for minting ERC-20 tokens or ERC-721 standard NFTs:
- Manually set up a contract on OpenZeppelin and release the token using Remix Ethereum.
- Use Thirdweb's smart contract builder to issue tokens.

Activities in Scroll Sepolia
Scroll recently launched the new Sepolia network. Here, you can engage in several activities:
- Integrate Ethereum Sepolia and Scroll Sepolia test networks with the Metamask wallet.
- Claim ETH in the Sepolia network using a faucet. However, you'll first need to register on the Infura.io website.
- Transfer ETH from Ethereum Sepolia to Scroll Sepolia via the official bridge.
- Carry out transactions, like token swaps and liquidity pooling, on the decentralized Uniswap exchange.
