On March 19th, a developer of DefiLlama, under the pseudonym 0xngmi, initiated the fork of the platform. He announced his decision on Twitter, accusing the founders of the information panel of “hostile takeover” for launching a token without the consent of employees. Tendeeno, a contributor to Llama Corp projects (the parent company of DefiLlama), supported his colleague and also commented on the situation.
Going to try my best to give a TLDR on whats happening at DeFiLlama in an unbiased way
remember, i'm just a small unpaid contributor, not on any official team, etc. I just like the llamas and want to see them succeed
So here's my best attempt:

Amidst the internal conflict at DefiLlama, Llama Corp. has refuted claims of any hostile takeover, implying that the actions taken by 0xngmi were independent of the company's management. However, an official statement posted on DefiLlama's Telegram channel by 0xngmi and some other team members accused the founders of seizing control of the community and IP addresses of the platform.
However, the following day, DefiLlama representatives took to Twitter to announce that the situation had been resolved and issued apologies for the recent events. They further added that they had no immediate plans to release their LLAMA token and that all Llama Corp. departments would continue to operate collaboratively.
1/3 The DeFiLlama team would like to apologize for the events that unfolded yesterday, as a result of poor communication and a misunderstanding within the team.
