New AI Collaboration in Waste Management
Dutch waste processing firm Bollegraaf Group has forged a partnership with British AI startup Greyparrot, which specializes in developing an automated waste analysis system. This innovative technology helps identify misclassification, segregate recyclable items, and prevent the disposal of contaminated materials through incineration.

Dutch waste processing firm Bollegraaf Group has forged a partnership with British AI startup Greyparrot, which specializes in developing an automated waste analysis system. This innovative technology helps identify misclassification, segregate recyclable items, and prevent the disposal of contaminated materials through incineration.

As part of the agreement, Bollegraaf will transfer its AI department under the management of Greyparrot, in addition to a $12.8 million investment in the startup. Consequently, Greyparrot will allocate more resources to the research and integration of their developments into Bollegraaf's existing facilities. Druckman expresses optimism that new plants, entirely based on Greyparrot's technologies, will soon be operational.
