Yuga Labs launches Dookey Dash game and invites you to the sewers

A new exciting update of the BAYC ecosystem is scheduled for January 17. Bored apes posted an intriguing tweet: “Short version: monkey butthole, Sewer Pass January 17, skill-based mint begins January 18, new power sources”.
Players are going to dive into BAYC sewers and explore non-standard skill-based minting. Access to sewer pipes will only be available to users with special Sewer Passes. They are provided free of charge to all BAYC/MAYC owners who wish to join the game. Users who do not have NFTs can receive a pass as a gift or buy it.

But why the sewers? Why would decent folk go down the drains to try to get to Jimmy the Monkey’s dirty butthole?
A game not for squeamish
Dookey Dash is a skill-based game that belongs to the endless runner genre. It is an endless level with obstacles that gradually increase in difficulty.

The plot of the game is far from trivial. According to the project website:
“OOPS, JIMMY'S ATOMIC SHIT HAS RIPPED A HOLE IN THE SPACE-TIME CONTINUUM. AND NOW HE'S PASSED OUT ON THE TOILET IN AN ULTRA-SECURE OUTHOUSE. IS THE KEY TO A MYSTERIOUS AND VERY IMPORTANT BOX STUCK IN HIS BUTTHOLE? SURE IS.
WE GOTTA GET THAT KEY AND THE ONLY WAY IS THROUGH THE BOWELS OF THE BAYC SEWERS”.
At first glance, the task is simple: the player gets into the sewers, dodges obstacles, and collects some fragments scattered around. The final rating depends on two indicators – the number of fragments collected and the playing time. The longer the players stay in the sewers, the higher they will rise in the leaderboard.
What is Sewer Pass?
This is an item that allows you to go down the drain. All BAYC and MAYC holders can get Sewer Pass NFT for free from January 17 to February 8, 2023. You can start a game only by having this pass.
If a user does not have BAYC and MAYC, they can still join the project. To do this, they need to receive a Sewer Pass token as a gift or purchase it from NFT holders.
Three weeks to conquer the sewers
Sewers will be open starting January 18 till February 8. During this time, each Sewer Pass holder can play the game an unlimited number of times and receive an appropriate reward. Players who score more than 0 points will have their passes transformed “into something new” in the future.
Race results
On February 8, points will be frozen, but you can still transfer, sell or exchange Sewer Pass until February 15. The developers promise to monitor compliance with the rules and conduct anti-cheat checks regularly. All controversial passes will be invalidated without a right for further transformation.
The summoning ritual
The hour-X will come on February 15th. During the summoning ritual, all credible Sewer Passes will transform into “an incredible source of power from another dimension.”
Yuga Labs promises to provide more information in the FAQ shortly, but for now, everyone can prepare to receive passes to the sewers.
